Dr. Divyendu Singh joined the New York Life Insurance Company in 2016. After 15 years working as a scientist in Biomedical Research (Immunology) in several medical educational Institutes, including NIH, Indiana University, and MD Anderson Cancer Center, he wanted the opportunity to work somewhere that made it easy for other people to do what was right, and more importantly, made it easy to do right by them. He has been a proud resident of the Houston, Texas, community for many years and, therefore, has a vested interest in seeing his friends and neighbors succeed. As a loving father of two boys, he has many of the same hopes and aspirations as his clients do. He has a Ph.D. in Immunology from SG PG Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow, India, has been an NYL Council agent for many years, and was a Qualifying MDRT member* 2021; and NAIFA member (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
After running a successful practice as a Financial service professional, he accepted a leadership role as a Partner at New York Life. After several years as a Partner, he has decided to change his career path to allow him to have his clients and still maintain the ability to coach his team to success as an Agency Associate with the New York Life Houston Office. Now he is working as registered Representative at NYIFE Securities LLC and provide thorough and customized financial strategies to individuals and business owners to address a variety of needs, such as individual and group life insurance, business solutions, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, college funding, long-term care solutions, and lifetime income strategies.
